AS218506 is a personal network and infrastructure project. This site is its home: a place for network information, tools and notes on the work as it develops.
Learn by operating
There is a difference between reading about a system and being responsible for it. Running a network creates a reason to understand routing decisions, dependencies and the small details that make services reliable.
Make the process visible
The aim here is to document that process honestly. Where measurements are available, the site shows their source and collection time. Where a service is still an idea, it is labelled as planned.
Part of a bigger picture
My personal website, siekman.io, covers a broader range of projects and technical interests. This space focuses on the network. Articles can link between the two, with one canonical home for each piece.
