A status page is only as useful as the measurements behind it. This site starts with a small scope: an HTTPS check of the website and visibility into the routing data collector.
Unknown is not healthy
Before the first check runs, the status is unknown. When the last measurement gets too old, it is shown as stale. Neither case should quietly become a green indicator.
Name the blind spots
The website check runs from the hosting server. It can detect some failures, but it cannot provide an independent view of the whole network. Router reachability, BGP sessions and flow telemetry need their own integrations.
Build up the evidence
The next step is collecting enough history and adding external vantage points. Until that exists, an uptime percentage would create more confidence than the measurements support.
